Jake + Laura Devney

Last weekend I traveled to Farmington, Minnesota for Jake and Laura’s wedding. It was my first time meeting them in person – Jake’s brother is a good friend of mine and so he referred them to me about a month ago to photograph their wedding.  Needless to say we didn’t get to do any engagement photos, but Jake and Laura were very willing to do a variety of photos before the wedding – even a few outdoors! The third photo in this post is my friend, Jake’s brother, Steve – always well-prepared! ;-)

 

 

Becky – the best roommate ever!

The last time I took photos of Becky was probably about a year ago – we actually had to schedule a time for photos because we hardly ever see each other even though we live with each other! Becky is SUCH a natural in front of the camera and she is so photogenic! I’m so blessed to have her in my life (and not only so I can take photos of her!)

 

Florida – Imaging USA

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend ImagingUSA in Tampa, Florida with my friend Samantha. We spent most of each day in sessions that covered everything from basic lighting to advanced marketing techniques. But of course, we also made time to lounge by the pool and photograph each other and the beautiful scenery!

New Years Eve

What a better day to ‘start’ my blog than the last day of 2007!! My friend Jill came up to celebrate the New Year, so I took her and my other friend Ashley out for a photo shoot earlier in the day. Here are some of my favorites:

Since it is now the middle of February, I decided to start my New Year’s resolution – to maintain a blog! I will start by thanking you for visiting and I hope you check back often! I will back-track for the first month and a half since I have some images too fun to keep to myself. Once I have caught up, I will post photos and news as they happen!
