I recently purchased some fun-colored file folders to help me get organized (one of my dwindling new years resolutions). Now I am just keeping busy thinking up ways to fill them with information! :-)

Another couple from the NC getting married this summer – Tom and Joan came over yesterday morning for their engagement photos. We did a few at my place and then some in town, but my favorite part of the session was when Tom took us out to his grandma’s farm! There were lots of cool buildings and some great scenery – if only the wind would have settled down a bit for us to enjoy being outside!!
Another fun part of Tom and Joan’s session was the herd of deer that came walking right up to us!! You can see a few of them in the background of the next photo – there were at least 15-20 more in the trees!
Tom and Joan – I hope you had fun and I can’t wait for your wedding this June!

I got this old barn window frame from the farm this summer. I still don’t know how I’m going to use it, but anything this weathered just looks cool! :-)

Some of you may have noticed that I have not done my daily photo the past couple days. I decided to change it to a weekly photo instead – let’s just say there wasn’t much inspiration with all the snow and rain, plus I was running out of things to photograph in my apartment!! Today I was lucky enough to have an adorable little girl to take photos of! :-)
This little sweetheart just turned one! She and her mom came over this evening for some photos and I was so excited to share them with you that I already picked out my top favorites!!
